Last night we had a fantastic dinner: a yummy roast seasoned with garlic and rosemary along with a big crock of roasted veggies--carrots, celery, potatoes and onions. Lots of flannel scraps laying around here and not much to do with them (1/2 yard to full yard sized cuts). I just finished up a nice lunch: Smoked turkey on whole grain oat nut flatbread with braised cherries. Fresh peaches with vanilla and brown sugar. The kids ate frozen blueberries that we picked a while back over in Greenwich and barely touched their chicken sandwiches. Little One pieced on every ones leftovers. Yesterday I took all of the girls up to a small, local amusement park called Magic Forest with #1's kindergarten class.
